Consequences of War - BA English Essay
What is a war? It is very easy to discuss wars and discuss the impacts of them but we can simply envisage the misery through which people have to go through in a war. No matter what the causes and no matter what the achievements are, wars always have devastating impact on people.
A human life is very valuable and it has been consistently repeated in every religion and constitution in this world. Wars usually happen to acquire resources or to settle enmity but the only achieved is the loss of lives. Loss of a human life deprives a person of his basic right to live and also puts his or her family in the position to tolerate the unbearable loss.
Wars do not just happen and they do not just stop. There is a lot of money involved in it. A very strong country like America is on the verge of bankruptcy just because it has started war on terror. The perfect example is of Pakistan which has been in a state of war for the past decade and Pakistan has lost billions of dollars in this process. People are not ready to do their investment in Pakistan and they refrain from spending a single rupee in Pakistan
War leaves an everlasting effect on the minds of people. The fear of dying and the fear of losing a loved one stay forever. I would even go to the extent of saying that going to through a war is tantamount to living in a hell.
War is mostly held between two countries, but all the alliances and treaties result in more than a dozen countries getting involved in the war. Their participation might not been seen in real terms but the countries cannot restrain themselves from helping their allies financially. So another adverse affect of wars is that it results in a world where people hate and despise each other gravely.
